The National Association for Patient Participation admits three kinds of members. Only Patient Participation Groups, however, are entitled to make proposals and vote at the Annual General Meeting. The membership options are as follows:

Individual membership (Cost £10 annually)

Individual memers receive a monthly ebulletin and a quarterly newsletter. Both of these are sent by email only. They will also receive other occasional publications distributed by electronic means. Individual members are welcome to contribute to the work of the Association but are not entitled to make proposals or vote at the Annual General Meeting.

Individual Affiliation Form

Patient Participation Groups (Cost £25 annually)

Patient Participation Groups receive a monthly ebulletin and five printed copies of our quarterly newsletter and other occasional publications. When first affiliating, they also receive a Handbook of Patient Participation. Affiliated Groups are able to access telephone advice on their formation and development. Where possible, N.A.P.P. will send a representative to speak at meetings on an expenses only basis and will support the formation of local networks. Affiliated Groups receive a substantial discount to our Annual Conference and are also able to contribute fully to Annual General Meetings.

PPG Affiliation Form

Primary Care Organisations (Cost £300 annually)

Primary Care Organisations receive a monthly ebulletin and printed copies of our quarterly newsletter for each of the Patient Participation Groups in their area. Other occasional publications are also made available to Primary Care Organisations. When first affiliating, they also receive our Toolkit on Developing Patient Participation. N.A.P.P. is able to provide speakers and facilitate workshops for Primary Care Organisations. We have a particular interest and expertise in commissioning, as well as the formation and development of Patient Participation Groups.
